River Adventure, July 2018

It's super fun to have a river in our front yard! I love to watch it, look at the ducks and heron and turtles that play in it... see the leaves fall on top of the water and float downstream. I also love to watch my big sister wade and play and rock-hop... And today, I got to join her! Mommy put me into the snugglie and waded in too, and we rescued a big mattress that had washed down - I guess somebody had used it as a float. I loved splashing in the water and getting my feet wet. Kopper loved everything about it too. Neat-o!!!!

Fun Facts

Thea arrived September 17th 2017. She's now ONE YEAR OLD!! She loves her doggie Kopper, being outside, storytime at the library, Cookie Monster, turning the pages of books, playing with various toys especially rolling and trying to toss balls, riding in carts at the store, discovering new things like how to somersault, and especially her big sister! At 12 months she was a very active crawler, and within a week after her birthday she began walking. Now she's a pro! She also puts everything in her mouth (esp. fuzzies from the rug or chair cushions) and is very adventurous - pulling open drawers, cabinets, climbing up on furniture and she is thrilled when we let her climb the stairs... She's also starting to chat more, and can tell you what the doggie says and the kitty, and sometimes even the duck and the lion. Some of her words these days: Eloise ("Eh-o-eeez"), Ma-Ma, Yes ("Uhh-ss"), and howling like the doggie. Observant, happy, healthy, beautiful, active & daring are some of the words to describe our precious girl!
