Sweet Baby - Late October 2017

Look at me!  Growing, growing!!

Cutest jammies ever!!!  Thanks to our friends the Carpenter Family for all the wonderful clothes!  Hand-me-downs filled with LOVE :)

Jumpy Chairs

Being a baby sure can be fun!  Thanks for this great jumpy chair, Aunt Linda!  It rocks and plays great music, plus I'm just starting to notice the toys that hang down overhead.

And thanks too, to Cousins Lauren and Sam and Hardin for my other jumpy chair - it vibrates and helps me take naps sometimes :)

Outdoors with Mommy

Just because I'm only one month old doesn't mean I'm not big enough to help with chicken chores!  Let's get it done, Mommy!

Here I am, in the snuggly pack.  Mommy can tote water and do all kinds of chores with me!  I like to hear the leaves crinkle under her feet, and listen out for the silly clucks of the chickens.  Brody, our orange tabby cat, likes to help sometimes too!

And here's one indoors...  Taking care of the bunnies doesn't hardly count as a chore.  Thanks for my first bunny kiss, Eloise!  (And yes, Kopper the puppy loves to keep a close eye on me.  I'm her baby, after all!)

Mid-October 2017

Mommy's favorite outfit on me!  These are preemie overalls :)

Wednesday

Me & My Sister

We're nearly Irish twins, eleven years apart... Can you see the connection??

Two nights before I was born, Kestin won me this bear at the fair :)

Pictures of Thea on October 14th

Some portraits my moms took of me.  I'm almost one month old!!  In these pictures, I'm still working back up to my original birthweight, so I weigh less than six pounds here, and as big as I look, I'm cuddled up in my mommies' egg basket!

Saturday

Me, Me, and More Me!!

My head seems so small next to Mommy's hand...

I love to cuddle up in a little ball!

Mamma's little lapful!

Aunt Carol's Visit

After Aunt Linda had to go home, Aunt Carol came to help out - yay!!

Gigi

When I was just two days old, I popped my gigi (our family's word for pacifier) out of my mouth all by myself.  Within days of that, I could grab it fairly well as I liked.  I'm tricky!

Silly Baby!

At about seven o'clock at night, I get busy!  Mamma says I do "tai chi"...  Mommy caught this pose and thought I looked like I'm flamenco dancing.  What do you think??

Another funny face :)

Dreamtime

Sleeping Sisters, Side by Side...
Kestin's on the couch, I'm in the same Amish cradle she slept in when she was a newborn.

Finally Home!

Aunt Linda met us at home, to help out as we settled in.  Thanks, Aunt Linda!

At birth, I weighed six pounds, five ounces.  By Friday, I weighed only 5 pounds, five ounces.  So, my feet were teeny tiny, and newborn clothes were baggy on me.  Moms got me a few preemie clothes and told me how cute I was :)

The doctor saw me several times the first few weeks, to check on my weight gain and health.  I spit up a lot, and gained back the weight slowly, but otherwise I'm a healthy girl!
